A dashboard view is used to compare, analyze, and present data. More specifically, the dashboard allows visualization of any node in the model. The first way is the standard graph, the second is the ring graph and the third is purely numerical.

To create a dashboard, first create a new view. Then, click on the "Type" dropdown field and switch it to "Dashboard" type.

Confirm that you want to switch the view to the new type, as this step will erase the pre-existing view along with any table settings and chart settings. Clicking "Yes" will create a new empty Dashboard view.

There are many ways to customize the Dashboard View. Hover over the specific dashboard tile and select the gear icon that appears in the top right corner of the tile.

Clicking on the gear icon will open the chart settings, which provides a variety of chart types, start and end dates, comparisons, time periods, scenario options, colors, plot type, axis options, and the options for the legend labeling. To add specific nodes to the specific dashboard element, type in the name of the variable and click on it to add.

The settings will vary slightly depending on the dashboard element type. The 3 left tiles are gauge charts (or rings). The bottom tiles will display two data elements numerically. The 4 main charts have the same settings as the Charts in standard Views.
